PELA estrada afora, eu vou bem sozinho...

a primeira vez q eu li sobre o PELA foi em uma resenha do excelente disco do 'the snake the crown the cross'... ou é 'the cross the snake the crown'? talvez seja 'the crown the snake the cross', mas não importa. importa é q é um puta disco. tô falando do disco do 'the crown the snake the cross'... ou seria 'the cross the.. ok, parei =9 mas então, o negócio é q a resenha falava q PELA era bom. era dessas bandinhas boas q ninguém dá bola. tipo o the national antes do alligator - ou antes do boxer mesmo - banda boa q toca em lugares pequenos, úmidos e apertadinhos (ui) e arrebenta no palco. o PELA é assim. o vocalista é um bombadinho q fala mais q a boca (como podemos perceber naquele filme chatão sobre a cena - ahm? - de indie rock whatever no brooklin q passou no indie desse ano) e as musgas tem uma energia fudida. o disco deles é desse ano e era (e continua sendo) quase impossível de baixar, só conseguia umas musgas avulsas. aí né, consegui baixar o disco quase todo trudia, mas ainda faltam 3 musgas. q triste. se eu fosse vcs (e graças a DEUS, eu não sou) eu apertava o play e assistia o clip toscão da fodaça 'lost in the lonesome' e me agradecia depois. ah, e tem uma musga no disco q chama 'your desert it's not a desert at all' q tem uma guitarrinha dedilhada matadora de fazer chorar. recomendo.

e pra quem nunca ouviu a delícia do folk rock do the snake the bla bla bla, tá aí o video de uma das melhores musgas deste fuderoso ano de 2007: THE GREAT AMERICAN SMOKEOUT. caraleo, eu quero ir no show desses homi.
